Kim Baxter (nee Buckley), Dave Sprot, & Kimberley Pyatt
All are Chartered Physiotherapist, fully registered with the Health Professions Council and have a wide variety of training and work experience between them. Building on this, the clinic specialises in the treatment of sports injuries, neck and back pain. Treatments include manual and exercise therapy, manipulation, mobilisation, massage, electrotherapy and acupuncture
Highly competitive in the sport of orienteering - Dave has represented England, Kim Great Britain - the physios also take advantage of living in the city of Sheffield to get outside and be active as much as possible. Dave competes for Hallamshire Harriers on the track and in cross country,
Kim Baxter
Kim qualified as a Physiotherapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 1998 has recently completed an MSc in Physiotherapy at Nottingham University. The MSc specialised in manual therapy, rehabilitation of musculo-skeletal problems and sports medicine.
Kim currently supports the British Orienteering team providing physiotherapy treatment on training camps and at international competitions along with advice to the coaches with regards to the training and rehabilitation of athletes. In 2002 and 2003, Kim provided physiotherapy support to the England Women's Cricket Team during their UK summer tour and the winter Ashes tour to Australia and New Zealand. As well as treating players for injuries during competitions, she also worked with the sports scientist to develop strengthening and conditioning programmes to help prevent injuries.
Kim is actively involved in continuing her professional development and as well as attending numerous courses she has participated in study days with the British Olympic Association and the International Federation of Sports Medicine.
